A new day has come...

I have begun again!  I know, I know...it's very like me...I love a new project.  But I've "struggled" with this blog for so long - never sure what to post...never took much time for it.  But I've had that blogging itch for months now, so I've decided to give it another go!  Even if I'm my only reader, for some reason, I still keep coming back to blogging :)  I really like it..........I'm just not super awesome at it!  Nevertheless, here we go again...you can find me here:

The Pledge

Of course I know that Asher was learning this at school, but I never even thought to have him say it to me - then one day at the bus stop he says, "Mom, put your hand on you heart!" ?? ok ??  And then he proceeds to say THE CUTEST pledge of allegiance ever - had to capture it :)

This Moment

This Moment - A Friday ritual.  A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week.  A simple, special, extraordinary moment.  A moment I want to pause, savor, and remember.

StarStruck Invitational

Last weekend Lily had a big meet in Atlantic City - she and her adorable teammates all did great!  I'm so proud of them and all their hard work - it's incredible seeing them work hard and achieve their goals - it's pretty amazing & they inspire me!

Apart from being super busy with sports this past weekend, we've been battling some sickness...that's always fun.  I've got two home from school today, but I'm pretty sure it was more of a it's-freezing-cold-out-and-I-want-to-stay-home-and-watch-tv-all-day instead of total sickness...BUT they do feel lousy, and everyone needs a day off here & there :)  So I'll take the extra snuggles and one less trip to the busstop in this ridiculous cold any day!

Stay Warm!!

Our Christmas Pictures (or whatwelooklikeoneyearlater)

I want to do "a year in review" post, cause I've had so much fun looking at everyone else's!  But first I wanted to share our annual pictures, taken by the amazing Sarah Fisher - she's a great friend & she's done our pictures for the past couple of years - she manages to capture our big, crazy family, and she doesn't complain!  So here we are, one year later...my precious family.

this one i love - it was one of the ones she snapped as we "tried" to get the kids to cooperate for a pose - this is real life right here:)

Lily - age 10

Ian - age 8

Elijah - age 5

Asher - age 3

Mateo - age 1
